Rewards

So I was reading someone's weighloss blog. They didn't have the band and didn't have as much weight to lose as me but had the great idea of rewarding themselves with a Pandora charm for each 5 kilos they lose. So I thought that was a great idea. I wanted to reward myself but things like getting your hair done etc dont last forever. This way I have something on my wrist that reminds me of my success and pushes me towards my goal.
Then I saw how much a single charm was. Ok, $18 I can deal with, $250- get fucked! Excuse the french. So I'm looking to see if I can find a cheaper version. Lol. I have no money.
What is everyone doing reward wise for weight loss?

I'm still trying to decide what to do for rewards - I was going to go with facials or massages - just little things to make me feel good. I figured that the loss was permanent so I wouldn't need any reminder. Having said that, the only reward I've been giving myself is new undies - although that is a necessity too! I like the charm idea - but $250 - bugger that!

Hi Bridget,

You are doing great, I read through all the new posts today :)

For rewards I am doing facials, massages and when I hit the 99kgs mark I am getting my hair permanently straightened. It has been a few years since I did that.

I have them all written up, and now I need to lose another 3.5 kgs to hit my next reward :)

Hi Bridget,

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I have just been reading through our blog from the beginning and wow you have really been through so much in such a short time.

I suspect that the Pandora charm idea came from me? If so there are lots of charms out there for under $30 each, as long as you are happy with silver ones. The gold ones are pretty pricey.

The bracelet themselves start from about $40 I think.

Also there are different ones out there that are a bit cheaper but be careful as my mum got caught out with a charm that was a fake and it got stuck on her Pandora Bracelet and she had to pay a jeweller to get it off.
